Keto Sweet Tosis is a family-owned home bakery based in Courtice, Ontario, Canada, proudly serving customers across Durham Region with handcrafted keto, sugar-free and gluten-free desserts.
How Our Story Began
In early 2024, my husband and I committed to a keto lifestyle. Within months, we experienced significant weight loss and felt better than we had in years. However, like many people living keto, low‑carb, or diabetic‑friendly lifestyles, we missed sweet treats.
We searched everywhere for keto desserts in Durham Region. The few options we found were not customizable, or frozen, and honestly, disappointing in taste and quality.
So we started baking our own.
From Experimentation to Excellence
What began as a personal challenge quickly became a passion. We tested countless recipes, ingredients, sweeteners, and baking methods. There were many failures and even more adjustments. Eventually, we created desserts and baked goods that were not only keto‑friendly, but genuinely delicious.
That’s when Keto Sweet Tosis was born.
A Local Keto Bakery in Durham Region
We saw a clear opportunity:
To offer 100% natural, healthy keto baked goods in Durham Region Ontario that are:

In August 2024, Keto Sweet Tosis was officially registered as a Sole Proprietorship home bakery. We began by offering our baked goods privately through Facebook Marketplace, local community groups, and hand-delivered menus across neighbourhoods in Durham Region - Ontario, Canada.
The response was encouraging — customers were excited to finally have access to quality keto desserts locally.
Certified & Officially Open
In October 2025, we arranged for a food safety inspection of our home bakery and successfully passed.
Keto Sweet Tosis is now Durham Dine Safe Certified and officially open to the public as a home bakery serving Durham, Ontario, Canada.
This certification reflects our commitment to cleanliness, safety, and responsible food handling practices.
